This program is an essential part of the newly accredited and updated Diploma of Contract Management. The qualification is now more comprehensive and focused on developing the essential skills and knowledge required in managing successful contracts. The importance of having staff with a thorough knowledge and understanding of contract management has grown significantly in recent years. It is no longer just the contract manager or lawyer who needs this knowledge. All staff who are involved in the delivery or oversight of the contract need an understanding of the impact of their decisions and actions on the contract.

It is no longer just the contract manager or lawyer who needs this knowledge. All staff who are involved in the delivery or oversight of the contract need an understanding of the impact of their decisions and actions on the contract.

The program is delivered over 6 face-to-face days with a break after the first 3 days to allow you to go back to your workplace and apply the skills you have gained.

Who Will Benefit

Project managers, site supervisors, mine managers, line managers, engineers, senior administrators or professionals who engage contractors or who are contractors themselves.

Note: This qualification is designed for those who already work within contract management and actively participate in the management of contractors which includes but is not limited to all phases of the contract from negotiations through to planning and finalisation.

Pre-requisite

We recommend that you complete the 2 day 149 Contract Law and Risk Management prior to attending The Contract Manager - Intensive.
