Richard Goyder AO, FAIM Managing Director & CEO, Wesfarmers

Richard Goyder AO, is one of Australia’s most respected business leaders.

He became deputy managing director and chief financial officer of Wesfarmers in 2004, and replaced Michael Chaney as CEO in July 2005. In 2007, he oversaw the purchase of Coles Group for A$19.3 billion, which was "the biggest and one of the riskiest acquisitions in Australian corporate history". He announced his intention to resign as CEO of Wesfarmers in February 2017 to succeed Mike Fitzpatrick as Chairman of the AFL Commission.

Jennifer Byrne began her career in journalism at age 16 as a cadet at Melbourne's The Age newspaper. At age 23 she became the paper's San Francisco correspondent and later a feature writer.

Jennifer Byrne's television work began as a researcher for This Day Tonight's Melbourne unit and later as a reporter for Nationwide. The Nine Network's current affairs program 60 Minutes, ABC TV's Foreign Correspondent and the first Tuesday Book Club.

Geoffrey Robertson
Geoffrey Robertson QC Human Rights Barrister, Academic, Author and Broadcaster
Geoffrey Robertson QC grew up in Sydney and was an Australian Rhodes Scholar. In England he became a leading Queen’s Counsel and in 1990 founded what is now the largest human rights practice in Europe, Doughty Street Chambers.

Mr Robertson has had a distinguished career, serving as President of the War Crimes Court in Sierra Leone and as a “Distinguished Jurist Member” of the UN’s Justice Council (2008-2012). He has appeared in many celebrated Old Bailey trials, defended Salman Rushdie, Mike Tyson, NWA and Julian Assange, prosecuted Hastings Banda and acted for Human Rights Watch in the proceedings against General Pinochet.
