How can we be better language teachers? The principles of instructed language learning
This is the second in a series of workshops designed to explore the essential features of quality language teaching. The workshop provides an opportunity for participants to explore the key principles of instructed language learning developed by Ellis & Shintani (2014). Through a variety of tasks, all able to be used in the language classroom, participants will engage with information about how language is acquired, and how this impacts what we do to support, and facilitate the learning and teaching of languages.
Prior to attending this you must have already attended the following workshops:
‘Tell me now; Show me how. How to be a good language teacher.’
