This is the first in a series of workshops designed to provide teachers with the necessary skills to plan and program effective language learning experiences within the CLS context. In this first workshop the focus will be on helping participants with their lesson planning. Through engaging in, and reflecting on teaching and learning experiences within the workshop, participants will learn how to design appropriate, achievable and measurable learning outcomes. Outcomes form the core of the lesson planning process. This process will be fully explored in the session and participants will be given a number of tools to take away and use in their own lesson planning.
