A vast majority of projects that suffer cost and time overruns do so because they lack professional scheduling. This course focuses on key tools of Microsoft Project needed by schedulers and planners; the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the Critical Path Method (CPM).

The Project - For schedulers course will help you to understand the scheduling methods such as the Critical Path Method (CPM) and efficiently use a scheduling tool to build the schedule model. It will also enable you to track the variance between planned versus actual performance and deriving suitable metrics. In addition, key features of building a schedule, managing resources and tracking a project are also covered.

This course highlights the concepts of project management and introduces Microsoft Project’s key features of how to set up a schedule and a resource pool, how to assign resources to tasks and how to track a project.
