This course is designed to provide an introduction to the process of shaping the culture of an organisation which forms a critical part of ensuring excellent WHS performance and the ongoing viability of your business.

Overview
The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WHS Act) has heightened the need to get your organisation's safety culture right. And while many things have changed, the concept of getting your safety culture right hasn't.
Excellence in safety management performance is critical to the sustainability of organisations across all sectors. The success of safety management systems depends largely on the quality of organisational leadership and the prevailing safety culture that cuts across the whole organisation.
This course is designed to build the knowledge and skills required to shape an effective safety management system, to engage workers (including contractors), into that system and to grow a strong, unified safety culture.

- Describe the role that organisational culture plays in ensuring a safe and healthy workplace
- Describe the essential components of an effective health and safety management system
- Implement required arrangements for consultation and participation in health and safety
- Effectively manage contractor health and safety and integrate them into your health safety systems and culture
- Plan and implement health and safety initiatives and foster the support and participation of stakeholders.
Get a broad understanding of the factors that impact your mental health in the workplace. This may include external stressors, workload, relationships, diet and more. The focus of this course is on nurturing your own mental health, while also equipping you with the tools to support others. This course runs in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Karratha, Bunbury and Albany.
With significant updates to the WHS legislation and changes in the ways workplaces apply this legislation, if you are a Health and Safety Representatives (HSR), you will benefit from this refresher course.
This course will guide you through the internationally recognised structure of a Work Health and Safety Management System or Occupational Health and Safety System, and importantly what you need to do to meet legislative requirements.
