Leadership & Executing New Strategy
The Senior Executive Forum is back! Bringing together the best and brightest leaders to learn, engage, connect and plan a new way of operating in the dynamic environment confronting every organisation.
Join two brilliant minds from Harvard Business School as they facilitate interactive discussions exploring industry case studies. This is a world-exclusive opportunity for senior executives to learn from distinguished faculty in an immersive fully residential program.
The theme this year will focus on harmonising the topics of Leadership and Strategy in a post-COVID world.
The 2022 Senior Executive Forum offers an inflection point in our thinking about strategy. For decades, the spotlight has been on formulating a strategy to build competitive advantage. Now the emphasis has shifted to executing the strategy – to actually getting things done; and to creating value with innovative business models and agility so we are constantly adjusting to changes in the external environment.
This shift from relying solely on strategy as capturing value, to putting the spotlight on the entrepreneurial creation of value and its realisation through coordinated implementation requires new thinking, a focus on teams and talent, and agility. As a result, the 2022 Senior Executive Forum could be the most significant in the long history of this prestigious learning experience.
Professor David Collis returns to share his insights into this transformation in our thinking about strategy. Having taught the classic approaches for many years, he has witnessed many organisations around the world who have found these traditional approaches insufficient to respond to the current challenges and opportunities.
Professor Ethan Bernstein examines the approaches taken to develop talent and a leadership mindset to lead transformational change. He also tests prior assumptions about how to maximise the capacity to execute strategy and deliver results given our increasingly transparent and collaborative workplaces.
Both Professors are skilled practitioners of the famous Harvard case method. They complement their expert facilitation skills with deep insights into the dynamics of industry, both public and private sector, with their exposure to organisations across the globe and with up-to-date research that provides compelling evidence of these changes taking place before us all.
