This skill set is designed for those working as developing and emerging leaders in a range of contexts. Leadership often begins at the team leader level across a wide range of enterprise and industry contexts. Team leaders communicate effectively, ensure team performance and develop effective relationships in the workplace. Across the breadth of industry, team leaders are responsible for implementing operational plans.
This qualification is assessment only, it does not include training and resources.
This pathway provides you with the opportunity to be recognised for the skills, knowledge and experience you already possess. You will be required to gather evidence based on a set of prescribed assessment tasks for each unit. You must successfully address all of these tasks in order to achieve the qualification.
This pathway requires you to have your workplace supervisor’s support in order to help you to develop evidence in areas where you have less experience. Enrolment in this qualification does NOT include any training or resources, it is assessment only.

This skill set is for frontline employees who have been recently appointed to a people management role as a leading hand, supervisor or team leader.
Enrolment in this qualification requires participants to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in their chosen field, with responsibility for team management practices as part of their current role.
Participants are also required to have the support of an employer, manager or supervisor who can provide opportunities for the participant to demonstrate competence and develop and collect evidence from various departments within the business.
Upon successful enrolment in this skill set, participants will be granted online access to all relevant assessment tools. Every aspect of each assessment tool must be addressed successfully in order to achieve this skill set.
Participants have up to 1 year to complete the assessment requirements of the skill set.

Learning how to be a good manager is critical for individuals who are new to leadership positions. This course is designed to help all emerging leaders, especially new managers or team leaders, to improve and develop their management skills and optimise their performance.
