Mining Statutory Position: Risk Management Units
This set of units meets the regulator's requirements for the approved health and safety risk management units required by Statutory Position holders under Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
These units are assessment only and do not include training and resources. You will be assessed on the skills and knowledge you already possess.

Who is this for?
It is for those requiring the risk management units of competency to meet the new regulatory requirements for holding a Statutory Position in the Mining Industry, as set out in Schedule 26 of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.

About the Work Health and Safety units
Mode of delivery:
Online - You will have access to our online portal that you can log in anywhere, anytime.
Duration:
6 months - You are in control of how quickly you complete

How Do I Get Started
1. Read the RTO Participant Handbook
2. Download the Enrolment Kit
3. Complete all sections:
• Enrolment Form - including your Unique Student Identifier (USI)
• Self-Assessment Questionnaire - assess your suitability to complete this RPL qualification
• Direct Manager’s sign-off
• Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills Questionnaire
4. Upload all documents on our website, or email to rto@aimwa.com. You must include your:

Typical Units of Competency
BSBWHS414 Contribute to WHS risk management
BSBWHS411 Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs
BSBWHS513 Lead WHS risk management - is also available for higher level roles
The units you need to complete will be dependent on the Statutory Position you hold - as outlined in the Information Sheet provided by WorkSafe. Pricing is set per unit.
