Assessment Only Explained
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING:
This pathway provides you with the opportunity to be recognised for the skills, knowledge and experience you already possess. You will be required to gather evidence based on a set of prescribed assessment tasks for each unit. You must successfully address all of these tasks in order to achieve the qualification.
This pathway requires you to have your workplace supervisor’s support in order to help you to develop evidence in areas where you have less experience. Enrolment in this qualification does NOT include any training or resources, it is assessment only.
Should you find there are gaps in your knowledge, or you want to do a refresher, we have recommended a range of Professional Development Programs that complement this qualification. You will find these listed below.
The BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and Safety qualification allows OHS/WHS practitioners to formalise their skills and knowledge while maintaining the OHS/WHS requirements in their organisation.
Who Will Benefit
Participants must hold all core units in BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent competencies.
Equivalence is determined through a credit transfer application process, using your previously awarded units of competence. An administration fee may apply.
Enrolment in this qualification requires participants to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in their chosen field, with responsibility for work health and safety management practices as part of their current role.
Participants are also required to have the support of an employer, manager or supervisor who can provide opportunities for the participant to demonstrate competence and develop and collect evidence from various departments within the business.
Upon successful enrolment in this qualification, participants will be granted online access to all relevant assessment tools. Every aspect of each assessment tool must be addressed successfully in order to achieve this qualification.
Participants have up to 2 years to complete the assessment requirements of the qualification.
