AIM WA supports the not-for-profit community

The Australian Institute of Management WA (AIM WA) has awarded scholarships to 51 organisations and three individuals for management and leadership development training valued over $100,000.

AIM WA has offered an annual Scholarship program for nearly 25 years. The Institute is celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year and continues to recognise the work of not-for-profit (NFP) organisations and aspiring professionals in the community, wishing to embark on professional development.

“We are delighted with the diverse range of organisations and individuals who applied for the scholarships this year and I congratulate all our successful applicants,” said AIM WA CEO Professor Gary Martin. “The Institute is dedicated to supporting the community in working towards management and leadership excellence both in Western Australia and nationally.”

In 2017, the Scholarships were awarded across two categories, the Organisation Management Development Award and the Ben Scott Young Professional Award.  The Ben Scott Young Professional Award is dedicated to the late Mr Ben Scott, a previous President of AIM WA, who showed incredible dedication to the Institute throughout his life. The award is tailored for ambitious young professionals under 35 years of age.

The successful applicants celebrated at a Cocktail event on Thursday 23 March.

Applications for the 2018 Scholarships open later this year.
