Why do we need Beediyar?

Although many organisations have made progress with First Nations recruitment and employment strategies, barriers still exist that prevent Indigenous employees from moving into senior management roles. In fact, "Indigenous employees are almost entirely absent from senior management and executive leadership levels." *

Program delivery and guidance

The Beediyar program engages with an advisory committee, predominantly comprising First Nations leaders. The committee provides guidance on program design, cultural considerations, and inclusivity while supporting participants throughout the program.

A representative of each host organisation will be invited to be part of an Organisation Advisory Group to have oversight of the program and support participants in their workplaces
