What to expect

ChatGPT can support a broad range of workplace activities, including writing, summarising, research, analysis, coding support and workflow improvement. Its conversational format allows you to ask follow-up questions, test ideas, refine outputs and work through tasks step by step.

During this course, you will learn how ChatGPT works, where it can go wrong and how to use it more effectively in day-to-day work. You will practise writing prompts, improving responses through conversation, working with files and applying responsible AI principles. You will also explore how ChatGPT can support practical workplace use cases while maintaining human judgement, privacy awareness and verification.

  • Active access to a ChatGPT account at one of the following subscription levels:
  • ChatGPT Plus (personal)
  • ChatGPT Business or Enterprise (recommended)
  • Two work samples relevant to your role that you are comfortable uploading into ChatGPT: for example, a written communication, a process document, or a project overview
  • Bringing your own device allows you to apply the learning to real work and leave with practical outputs you can use straight away.

A Business or Enterprise subscription is strongly recommended, as it unlocks the Custom GPT and Projects functionality used throughout this session. If you are attending with a ChatGPT Plus (personal) account, please ensure all sensitive data is anonymised before input.
