His vision is to become a benchmark in First Nations Career Engagement and Development by providing training and career progression that improves retention, mobility and employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.

This event is a unique opportunity to learn more about BEEDIYAR, AIM WA’s landmark executive development program dedicated to strengthening First Nations executive leadership capability in Western Australia. Find out how you and your organisation can be a part of this remarkable journey.

BEEDIYAR is the Noongar word for ‘leader,’ and is a culturally responsive program designed to fast-track the career progression of Indigenous managers and leaders across corporate, public, not-for-profit and charitable sectors.

A key part of AIM WA’s philanthropic commitment to First Nations leadership development, our goal is to address the underrepresentation of First Nations professionals in senior leadership roles and to create a more inclusive and diverse executive landscape in our state.

At the breakfast, you’ll hear about:

  • the program’s objectives and its structured approach to leadership development.
  • how your organisation can support this unique initiative as a sponsor
  • how you can provide an opportunity for a member of your own team to participate
  • the significant impact on participants, their organisations and the WA community.

You'll also hear firsthand from First Nations leaders who steer our BEEDIYAR Advisory Committee. Their insights and guidance have been instrumental in ensuring that the program effectively meets the needs of the next generation of Indigenous leaders.

We look forward to welcoming you to ‘Discover BEEDIYAR’ to shape a future where First Nations leadership thrives.
