The AIM Business School is the registered provider of all higher education qualifications delivered at AIMWA.
Our qualifications allow you to build on your knowledge; start with the Graduate Certificate in Management and work your way through to an MBA, step by step.
STAGE 1 Complete four units to gain a Graduate Certificate in Management
STAGE 2 Complete four more units to gain the Graduate Diploma in Management
STAGE 3 Complete the last four units to graduate with a Master of Business Administration.

Unlock your potential and propel your career forward with one of Australia's most affordable MBA programs. Designed for busy professionals, you’ll learn from industry-based expert faculty through practical face-to-face evening classes. There are no exams and you don’t need a degree to get started.
Location: AIMWA, Perth (Floreat), Western Australia
Time commitment per unit: Three hours, one night per week for 9 weeks.
Fees: The 2026 unit fee is $3,060 per unit. MBA total cost = $36,720 (GST-free). For units commencing in 2027, the unit fee is $3,250 per unit. MBA total cost = $39,000 (GST-free). Unit fees are reviewed annually.
The unit fee includes online resources and AIMWA Professional Membership while you study.

Entry Requirements
Entry to the AIM Business School is dependent on your management experience, the professional development you have undertaken as well as any formal qualifications you may have.
You can enter into the MBA course pathway if you can answer “Yes” to any of these questions:
- Do you have two years of relevant management experience and a Bachelor's Degree?
- Do you have three years of relevant management experience and a post-secondary qualification such as a Diploma or Advanced Diploma?
- Do you have five years of relevant management experience plus demonstrated potential to study?
Assessment
There are no exams in the AIM Business School MBA Program. Instead, assessment is based on undertaking realistic projects applied to students’ own organisational and industry contexts.
AIMWA Professional Membership
All students are given complimentary membership of the Australian Institute of Management in Western Australia for the duration of their studies.
The AIM Business School is structured on a term basis. You can join at the start of any of the four terms:

Tuition fees are paid per unit, per term. Students receive a letter of advice and an invoice one month prior to the commencement of each unit.

The AIM Business School Master of Business Administration is accredited with TEQSA and meets the requirements of a level 9 qualification on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate programs are accredited with TEQSA and meet the requirements of a level 8 qualification on the AQF. These courses are not CRICOS registered and as such enrolments from student visa holders cannot be accepted.
