Unique Student Identifier (USI) Mandatory from 1 January 2015
From 1 January 2015, all students undertaking Nationally Recognised training in Australia will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Once you have your USI, you can use it throughout your life, to keep a centralised online records of all your Nationally Recognised training. Whether you're studying at TAFE, a private training organisation, completing a certificate or diploma course, apprenticeship or skill set - you'll need a USI.
AIM WA has operated as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO National Provider No. 0058) since 1998. Our training and assessment strategies are designed for existing workers who wish to increase, broaden and consolidate their current skills. These qualifications are hands-on and practical with a focus on the competency required in the workplace.
Each qualification can be achieved by attending competency based and assessed programs. As part of most of these programs you need to complete a workplace project or assignment to demonstrate your competency and application of the required skills and knowledge.
If you already have the skills and don’t need the training, talk to us about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). We can help you get those skills and the knowledge you gained through life or work experience formally recognised. To get started, click on the links below and explore our range of qualifications.
