Overview

AI is reshaping the way organisations communicate, especially in sectors where accuracy, compliance and speed matter. This program gives leaders a clear understanding of how generative AI can streamline production, improve message consistency and reduce cost while meeting governance requirements. Each day blends strategic learning in the morning with practical creation in the afternoon, giving you the confidence to design and deploy AI communication tools immediately.

Across the three days, you will explore how AI transforms campaign development, visual content creation, spokesperson messaging and operational communication. You will learn how to build personas, define objectives and identify compliance constraints before designing targeted messages. Practical workshops guide you through creating AI-generated photos, videos, scripts and message pipelines that support ESG, HR, safety and stakeholder communication.

The final component focuses on building operational AI assistants and chatbots that support HR, safety, compliance, onboarding, patient information and customer communication. You will learn governance frameworks, risk controls and the technical foundations required to deploy AI tools safely in regulated settings. By the end of the program, you will have developed a suite of working AI assets and clear frameworks you can apply in your organisation.

What to bring

  • This is a hands-on course, so there are a few things you will need to bring along.

    • A laptop. A tablet or phone will not be enough for the practical exercises.
    • Active access to at least one general-purpose generative AI platform, at the subscription levels below.

Bringing your own laptop lets you work in the platforms and business environment you already know. Where it helps, you can use examples from your own work and leave with practical outputs you can apply straight away.

You do not all need to use the same platform. You may use whichever approved platform you already have access to. The course is built around transferable methods rather than any single product.

    Platform Minimum Recommended
    ChatGPT Plus Business or Enterprise
    Claude Pro Team or Enterprise
Google Gemini Free tier Google One AI Premium, or Google Workspace with Gemini
Microsoft Copilot Microsoft 365 Copilot (full enterprise licence)

Business, enterprise or premium subscriptions are strongly recommended across all platforms. If you are attending with a personal subscription, such as ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Google One AI Premium or a personal Microsoft 365 plan, please anonymise all sensitive data before you enter it.

You are welcome to use more than one platform if you prefer. Access to more than one tool will let you compare platforms directly during the course. Some exercises involve comparing how different platforms approach the same task, and you will be able to work in pairs or as a group for this part.

Please note. Some organisations apply security or access restrictions to AI tools, which may limit certain features covered in this course. If your organisation has these policies in place, some activities may not be fully accessible to you. We encourage you to check with your IT team before attending. AIMWA is not responsible for access limitations that arise from organisational IT policies.
