Overview

The arts have a powerful influence on wellbeing, connection and emotional balance, and you don’t have to be “good at art” to benefit from them. This course explores the relationship between creative engagement and mental health, helping you understand how different art forms support stress reduction, mindfulness and personal wellbeing.

You will take part in hands-on activities across a range of creative modalities, including music, visual arts, photography and more. These activities help you discover your own creative style, identify your arts “dose” and recognise what brings joy, calm and meaningful engagement in daily life and work.

The program also focuses on how the arts can shape a happier workplace. You will explore ill-health in the modern workplace, learn how creative strategies support positive culture and develop an arts-health business plan tailored to your organisation. By the end of the day, you will leave with practical tools and a deeper understanding of how creativity can enhance connection, performance and wellbeing at work.
