Professor Patrick Dunlop

Future of Work Institute, Curtin University

Patrick is a Professor at the Curtin University Future of Work Institute and a registered Organisational Psychologist. His research interests relate to the processes involved in personnel recruitment, assessment and selection. 

These include attracting talent, designing fair and diversity-supportive selection systems, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Patrick is especially interested in how technological developments, particularly generative AI, are influencing these processes.

Ruth Callaghan

Chief Innovation Officer, Purple

Ruth is Chief Innovation Officer at Purple, as well as a media strategist, crisis communications practitioner, presenter, journalist and digital advisor.

Since the launch of ChatGPT in November 2022, she has delivered workshops and presentations to thousands of Australians, helping them build their ‘AI-Q’.

Ruth specialises in helping people experiment and play with generative AI technologies, supporting the development of critical thinking skills and building confidence around its use and adoption at work.

Chief Learning and Development Officer, AIM WA

With over 12 years of professional experience in diverse organisational settings, Drew is a proven leader, organisational coach and facilitator committed to excellence, innovation and enhanced organisational outcomes.  
  
As the Chief Learning and Development Officer at the Australian Institute of Management WA, Drew is responsible for the design, development, delivery and review of organisational learning and development services, ensuring high-quality and relevant training for leaders, managers and professionals across industries. 
 
His talents and expertise were recognised in 2023 when he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to travel to the USA, UK, Switzerland and Singapore to investigate how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can enhance teaching and learning effectiveness, seeking to address challenges in the Australian education and training landscape, including teacher shortages, educational equity in remote areas and learning effectiveness.
