The Project Manager
As project responsibilities grow, a sound plan is only one part of the role. Project managers must connect delivery to organisational strategy, work within governance requirements, lead people, manage procurement and maintain control of project costs.
This practical three-day course builds on an existing working knowledge of project management. You will examine the project manager's leadership role across governance, human resources, procurement and cost management, then bring these areas together in a team-based project simulation.
Projects succeed because of the people who keep them on track. This qualification is for people who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of workplaces. At this level, you are responsible for a defined area of project work. You use a broad knowledge base to solve a defined range of unpredictable problems, and you may provide guidance to others, with some limited responsibility for their output.
