AIMWA Mini MBA
The Mini MBA program provides the opportunity to develop a comprehensive business skill set in a targeted, efficient, and practical setting. Complete in just six weeks (2026 intake) through 90-minute online sessions, one day per week.
Overview
Professional development at this level requires participants to understand complexity, to analyse, synthesise and interpret information, before applying the knowledge and expertise to their real world circumstances. The Mini MBA is an online non-accredited program, aimed to support you with your professional development plan and achieving your goals. Completing the Mini MBA means you can take the next steps in enhancing your career progression, adding the Mini MBA to your resume.
Individually, the topics of Strategy, Finance, Operations and People are critical to organisational success. However, they don’t work in isolation and it is the intersection of these elements, The Performance Hot Spot, where each aligns and enables sustained high performance. Throughout the online Mini MBA program, participants will be challenged to consider how the topic might best be managed to bring their organisation closer to the Hot Spot.
- To what extent do our financials, operational decisions and the make-up of our workforce align with the ambitions outlined in our Strategy?
- Is our performance being helped or hindered by our operational systems and processes?
- Are we being too ambitious or too conservative based on our current financial position?
- Do we have the right people, with the right skills in the right roles to succeed?
Please note that the online Mini MBA program is not accredited or recognised by the Australian Qualifications Framework.
One-on-One Coaching
Following Week 6, each participant will receive 2 x 1-hour, one-on-one virtual coaching sessions via an online Platform with an experienced coach to apply the learning and develop a Professional Development Plan.
Note: Sessions are not recorded.
If you are unable to attend a session, transfers are not possible.
