AIM WA +UWA Business School is excited to announce the 2025 International Study Tour to Seattle, Washington State, and San Francisco, California.

The International Study Tour offers an exceptional opportunity for business leaders, and executives to gain invaluable global business insights. Participants will enhance their leadership and strategic thinking while expanding their professional networks with international contacts.

Throughout the tour, participants will witness cutting-edge technologies, innovative business models, and groundbreaking research in action, offering a rare behind-the-scenes view of both major corporations and agile startups. This blend of academic learning, expert guidance, and real-world industry exposure makes the International Study Tour a uniquely valuable educational experience.

TWO CITIES, ONE EXTRAORDINARY INTERNATIONAL STUDY TOUR

The tour begins in Seattle, where expert-led lectures focus on key sectors such as aerospace, technology, and maritime industries. Seattle’s diverse business landscape provides a dynamic backdrop for exploring large-scale operations and manufacturing. Following this, participants head to San Francisco.

The tour then moves to Silicon Valley, the epicentre of innovation and entrepreneurship. Here, participants will engage with thought leaders and industry experts who drive the latest advancements in technology, startups and venture capital.

These opportunities will offer deep insights into how Silicon Valley continues to lead in disruptive innovation and business scaling. While in Silicon Valley, participants will visit Stanford University for firsthand exposure to one of the world’s leading academic institutions, further enriching their understanding of global business trends.

Current UWA students – you will need to apply for the credit towards your MBA accreditation through UWA Student Services from UWA Business School prior to being approved and paying for the tour. In addition, a UWA faculty member will access your eligibility.

International Study Tour fees

Business leaders, executives and professionals – $7,700 (GST inclusive) 
UWA MBA students - $5,200 (+GST)

This fee includes:

•    Lectures at Stanford University
•    Access to top-tier companies in Seattle & Silicon Valley and guest speakers
•    Welcome event
•    Ground transportation
•    Tour materials.

In addition to the program fee, participants will be required to pay for:

•    Flights (including internal flight between Seattle & San Francisco)
•    Accommodation (booked/paid by AIM WA, account settled by participant with AIM WA prior to program commencement)
•    Meals
•    ESTA visa & travel insurance.
