How do we operate from our leadership edge and lead more adaptively within complex human systems? This program will empower leaders to drive sustainable change in their organisations.
2 Days
To quote Marshall Goldsmith, “What got you here, won’t get you there” and therefore we need to step beyond our preference to lead through our own expertise, to avoid trying to fix complex problems with simple solutions.
This program draws on global thought leadership in fields such as Adaptive Leadership, Adult Development, and Systems Thinking, supporting leaders in making purposeful progress on the daunting systemic challenges of the uncertain, complex, and ambiguous work environment we live in.
Participants will begin to understand the nature of the gaps between where things are today and what they and others in their organisation aspire towards. They will develop skills to diagnose the nature of these gaps and engage others in a trustworthy effort to make progress on important challenges. The program will also teach participants how to have generative conversations by asking different questions, considering multiple perspectives, and starting to see the system.
The two-day program includes completing the Leadership Maturity Profile and participating in a 1:1 debrief with a leadership coach to develop a clear developmental action plan.
The Leadership Maturity Profile is a powerful tool in the assessment and development of leadership capacity. Many forward thinking and leading edge organisations are using the Leadership Maturity Profile in their ongoing development of leaders.
The LMP is based on the Leadership Maturity Framework (LMF), an integral perspective of human development concerned with how we make meaning and sense of reality, which, in turn, influences how we think, feel, and behave. It analyses and predicts based on the nine stages of meaning-making defined by the LMF through which individuals and groups pass as they develop and mature. Each successive stage reflects a higher level of complexity of thought and action as individuals and groups become more effective and insightful.
