Projects succeed because of the people who keep them on track. This qualification is for people who apply project management skills and knowledge in a variety of workplaces. At this level, you are responsible for a defined area of project work. You use a broad knowledge base to solve a defined range of unpredictable problems, and you may provide guidance to others, with some limited responsibility for their output.

Leading a project from start to finish asks a lot: scope, time, cost, people and risk, all at once. This qualification is for people who apply project management skills and knowledge across a range of industries. At this level, you lead and manage projects and are responsible for achieving project objectives. You draw on a sound theoretical knowledge base and a range of specialised, technical and management skills to initiate, plan, carry out and evaluate your own work and the work of others.
