Course Overview

Jump start your leadership skills with this immersive, fully residential program designed to deliver personal insights and practical skills to enhance your development as a leader.

You will be challenged and inspired to perform at the highest level through the wide variety of learning approaches used during the Emerging Leaders Program. Each approach has specific objectives and focuses on particular skills, knowledge and behaviours. 

Prerequisites

We recognise the importance of a manager’s involvement and commitment to support their development – before, during and after the program. Details of this commitment are outlined on the Application Form. 

Please complete the Application Form and submit when registering for the program. There is a pre-work component to the program, which must be submitted prior to attendance.

Who Will Benefit

People who have the potential to assume a mid to senior level position within the next three to five years.

Content

The program will focus on key objectives and particular leadership skills, knowledge and behaviours in these areas:

  • Develop and apply emotional intelligence skills to enhance interpersonal relationships and team dynamics
  • Understand and align personal and organisational values to foster ethical decision-making and leadership practices
  • Apply insights from a diagnostic assessment into tangible actions to lead and inspire others more effectively
  • Engage in reflective practice with experienced organisational coaches who will support you in translating your ideas into action
  • Cultivate self-management techniques and establish a strong personal brand to lead with authenticity and confidence.

Learning Outcomes

The ELP represents part of the life-long learning journey of leaders. During the ELP we hope to fast-track your development and then offer ongoing opportunities to continue your learning journey through regular events that run throughout the year. 

Fee details:

The program fee includes all meals and three nights' accommodation.

For an optional/additional coaching package, additional fees apply:

Transfer and Cancellation Conditions:
  • Substitution may be negotiated at the discretion of AIM WA
  • In the event of transfer 14 working days or less before the program 50% of the program fee will apply
  • In the event of cancellation 14 working days or less before the program, full program fees will apply.
